See what the City is brewing up at the October Cybersocial With Halloween around the corner, get an early treat at the James Joyce Pub for this month’s Cybersocial. Come see what everyone’s been talking about!   Open Data is an initiative about improving services through demonstrating that we are open, transparent and are striving to enhance our community. The City of Fredericton makes data it collects available to the public via Fredericton.ca. By offering data sets for others to use, the City supports unfiltered access to its information. Applications created using City data provide potential benefits for everyone. The goal over time is to offer all data allowable by law. The Open Data site is the first step in the process where current, up-to-date data is offered for downloading. We encourage people to use the data and entrepreneurs to develop new applications that will offer exciting new services to others. |
